Who is Anna Cockrell’s brother?

Anna Cockrell’s brother is Tampa Bay Buccaneers and NFL star Ross Cockrell.

Ahead of Monday’s training camp practice, the team, including Ross, watched Anna’s heat to cheer her on.

Ross can be seen pumping his fist when his sister crossed the finish line in 54.17 seconds in a video uploaded to social media.

“Y’all got me crying in the village dining hall,” Anna Cockrell tweeted in all caps, sharing the video.

Ross Cockrell said watching his sister in the Olympics was inspiring and motivated him in training later that day.

“To see her go out there and perform as well as she did in adverse weather and adverse situations, and then go out to practice and do my thing, I was just feeling the magic she had,” Ross Cockrell said.

“I think she passed it along to me.”

More on the Cockrell family, including Anna’s parents

Anna Cockrell was born on August 28, 1997 to Serena and Keith Cockrell as the youngest of three children.

Her father Keith played football at Columbia University, and recently received a huge promotion to become the Charlotte market president for Bank of America.

According to a feature, this essentially makes him the top banker specifically focused on Charlotte.

Keith even named his daughter Anna Cockrell, after his own mother.

As well as Ross, who plays for Bucs, Anna also has an older sister, Ciera, who played volleyball ad Davidson College.

“We were a competitive family, always playing outside and racing each other,” Ann said.
