Some West Ham fans have called for Said Benrahma to start their upcoming match against Manchester United, with the midfielder picking up his second assist for the club in Monday’s win over Aston Villa.
Brought in from Brentford in the summer, the Algeria international has played just 64 minutes under David Moyes this season.
Signed on a loan deal with a move to become permanent in mid-October, the 25-year-old was made to wait for his debut in Claret and Blue, with his first appearance arriving at Liverpool at the end of the month.
Minutes hard to come by for Said Benrahma
Benrahma was given only one minute in that match, followed by just 18 minutes in the win against Fulham, where he set up Tomas Soucek’s 91st-minute winner.
But the attacker soon found himself on the bench once again in the meeting with Sheffield United, and only returned to the pitch as a half-time substitute against Aston Villa.
It took Said Benrahma less than a minute to set up Jarrod Bowen, whose flicked effort flew past Emiliano Martinez in the Villa goal.
Some West Ham fans are, therefore, calling on Moyes to start the exciting attacker in this weekend’s clash with Manchester United.
Strong start for Hammers
David Moyes’ outfit sit fifth in the Premier League after an impressive start to the new campaign.
They’ve won five of their ten matches, scoring 17 goals in the process. Moyes welcomes Manchester United to the London Stadium on Saturday evening, aiming to climb the table at the expense of his former side.
