Christian Eriksen

Christian Eriksen has been linked with a return to Spurs on loan, according to Sky Sports Italia.

The Dane has fallen out of favour under Antonio Conte at Inter Milan and is reportedly keen to head back to north Lonon.

Club chairman Daniel Levy is allegedly unwilling to pay a fee for the short-term deal. However, Spurs could benefit from Eriksen’s creative spark, with the side heavily reliant on Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.

Angel Di Maria

Jose Mourinho is eager to reunite with former Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria, according to Todofichajes.

The Argentine international boasts a wealth of experience and is out of contract in the summer.

Still only 32, he would appear an affordable option.

Jesse Lingard

Jesse Lingard has become a target for Tottenham, according to ESPN. The Englishman has struggled for game time at Manchester United and there’s speculation a reunion with Mourinho is on the cards.

Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer intends to keep hold of the midfielder but, with reported interest from seven clubs, he may be swayed into a sale.

Possible transfer window exits

Sergio Reguilon

Tottenham face the possibility of losing full-back Sergio Reguilon to the Spaniard’s former side Real Madrid, according to Times writer Tony Cascarino.

Reguilon joined Tottenham from the Spanish giants in the summer but the deal involves a £41 million buy-back clause at the end of the next two seasons.

The report suggests it would be a surprise if Madrid decided against exercising the clause, suggesting Spurs could already be at a disadvantage.

Dele Alli

Dele Alli is on his way out of Spurs, according to former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood.

The former England international made the comments on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday segment (16/01/21 at 1:25 pm).

Alli has struggled to gain a regular starting place under Mourinho and has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain. In Sherwood’s opinion, Alli will be a “superstar somewhere else”.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano insists Erik Lamela will remain at the club during the transfer window.

The Argentine has been linked with clubs in Italy having previously played for Roma.

He has struggled with injuries this campaign but the Guardian and Sky Sports Italia columnist has indicated Lamela is only concentrating on Spurs.

Toby Alderweireld

Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag has refuted reports stating Spurs centre-half Toby Alderweireld is a target for the Dutch giants.

Speaking to ESPN, via Goal, Ten Hag admitted Ajax had been in contact with Alderweireld regarding a potential return to the club but added they weren’t interested in the 31-year-old.
