Terence Crawford is widely recognised as one of the best boxers on the planet. Yet some fans may not know much about the American’s personal life. For example, who is Terence Crawford’s wife, Alindra Person?

Who is Terence Crawford‘s wife?

First and foremost, is Crawford married? For now, we can only give you the unsatisfying answer that we’re receiving mixed messages! Terence Crawford has definitely been in a long-term relationship with Alindra Person for a few years now.

Residing in Omaha, Nebraska, the couple have five children (three sons and two daughters) and one more on the way.

Regardless of some sources saying Alindra is Terence Crawford’s wife and some claiming they haven’t tied the knot, the couple appear very much in love.

In fact, one Instagram post in July announces baby number six is on the way:

Crawford’s rise to the top

With Alindra by his side, Crawford has risen to the top of the sport in recent years.

Currently holding a record of 36-0, the unbeaten 33-year-old has won world titles in three weight classes. This included him becoming undisputed super-lightweight champion in 2017.

Now fighting at welterweight, Crawford has made three successful defences of his WBO championship. He will attempt to make that four this weekend when he takes on Britain’s Kell Brook in Las Vegas.

Crawford’s inactivity

Crawford beat Brook’s long-time rival Amir Khan in April 2019 via a sixth-round knockout. However, he has only fought once since and has yet to step in the ring in 2020.

This may offer Brook some hope he can take advantage of Crawford’s ring-rust.

Last chance saloon for Brook

The Sheffield star held the IBF welterweight title between 2014 and 2017. However, back-to-back defeats to Gennady Golovkin and Errol Spence saw him relinquish that belt.

He has won his three contests since those losses but, at 34 years old, many view this as Brook’s last chance on the big stage.

Yet Crawford could see this as an opportunity to make up for lost time. A dominant victory would see fans clamouring for the champion to settle his dispute with fellow titleholder Spence in 2021.
