Ahead of her quarter-final tie at Wimbledon, meet Amanda Anisimova’s boyfriend, model Tyler Ross.
Amanda Anisimova is into the quarter-finals at Wimbledon surpassing her best ever run at a Grand Slam tournament. The American beat compatriot Coco Gauff in the third round in an epic match, battling back for a 6-7 (4), 6-1, 6-2 victory
In the Round of 16 she then beat France’s Harmony Tan in straight sets. She will now face former world no.1 Simona Halep in the quarterfinals.
20-year-old Anisimova has a career-high WTA ranking of No. 21 in the world, and is the 20th seed at the All-England Club. She beat Yue Yuan in the first round before beating fellow American Lauren Davis in the second round.
Her parents were instrumental in her career
The tennis star was born in Freehold Township, New Jersey, on 31 August 2001. Amanda Anisimova’s parents are mother Olga Anisimova and her late father Konstantin Anisimov, who was her long-time coach.
Her parents emigrated from Russia to the US before she was born to give their older daughter, Maria, better opportunities. They worked in the finance and banking industries.
Anisimova began playing tennis at a very young age and was inspired by older sister Anna, who went on to play college tennis for the University of Pennsylvania. The family moved to Florida when Amanda was young to access better training opportunities.
Sadly, Konstantin Anisimov unexpectedly passed away in August 2019, before Amanda had turned 18 years old.

Meet Amanda Anisimova’s boyfriend, Tyler Ross
Amanda Anisimova’s boyfriend is Australian athlete and model Tyler Ross. Ross is the son of Australian Football League (AFL) star Paul Roos, who represented Fitzroy and Sydney during the 1980s and 1990s, and coached the Sydney Swans and Melbourne Football Club. He has been inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame.
Tyler’s mother is American Tami Hardy, who is a meditation teacher from San Diego. He also has a brother called Dylan.
Tyler appeared in the fourth season of The Amazing Race Australia and also played for Southport Sharks in Australia. However, he now focuses on modelling and is signed with Brazen Models in Melbourne.
Amanda and Tyler’s relationship on IG
Amanda and Tyler have been dating since 2020. Before he met Amanda, Tyler said (via New to Love): “I haven’t been in a relationship now for a while,” and that “finding the right person and settling down” was his goal.
He obviously found what he was looking for in Amanda and the two seem incredibly loved up. They have shared several pictures with each other on Instagram.
