Everton are among the clubs interested in Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey, according to the Athletic.

Lamptey recently signed a new deal with the Seagulls, but that has apparently not put off any potential suitors.

The Toffees face competition from Arsenal and Manchester City for the English right back, according to the report.

And Brighton’s asking price won’t be increased by the new deal Lamptey has signed.

Lamptey has made quite the impression in the Premier League since joining Brighton from Chelsea.

His new deal is worth £40,000-a-week and those kind of wages shouldn’t really put Everton off.

They could do with a long-term successor for Seamus Coleman, with Jonjoe Kenny not getting many opportunities to impress this season.

It seems that the signing of Lamptey would be a popular one if Carlo Ancelotti could beat Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola to his signature.
