All eyes are on teenage star Rocker Steiner this week as some NFR 2022 viewers claimed the rodeo rider could be seen cursing while on air.

The annual season-ending rodeo and cowboy event is finally upon us, as the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association celebrate their very best athletes in a ten-day festival, often hailed as the highlight of the rodeo season.

Though this weekend, December 5 specifically, star-boy Rocker Steiner attracted attention online after viewers claimed that he could be seen cursing after his round four score was revealed.

Competing in the Bareback Riding field, Steiner fielded an impressive display in round four, described excitedly by the commentator as a “young man with a silver past and a golden future”.

Steiner’s efforts earned him a score of 84, placing him 10th out of a field of 15 bareback riders.

Though several Twitter users speculated in the aftermath of his ride that Steiner, upon receiving his score, reacted angrily and allegedly swore in the direction of the judges as he asked what was wrong with his ride.

There is official footage of Steiner’s round four ride, though the clip ends before we see Steiner’s reaction to his score.

GRV Media and The Focus have reached out to Rocker Steiner for comment.

Fans debate over Steiner’s alleged swearing

While many people have come out to bat for Steiner, some were less than happy with the rider for his alleged swearing incident.

“Rocker Steiner…. The most unprofessional and immature person at the 2022 NFR”, wrote one disgruntled rodeo fan on Twitter.

“Rocker Steiner has always been salty. Argue with ya mama”, added another unhappy viewer in response to the claims of swearing.

Many users were quick to defend him though:

While the debate continues to swirl around Twitter, the rider is yet to directly address the alleged incident.

Steiner takes to Instagram after National Rodeo Finals

While he may not have officially addressed the swearing claims, Steiner has uploaded to Instagram in the wake of his NFR 2022 appearance.

Posing in a blonde wig with sunglasses and his open chest on show, Steiner wrote to his 64,000 Instagram followers:

“I’m not gonna try and be something that I’m not. I’m not perfect but I’m me”.

Still aged just 18 years old, Steiner’s performance so far at NFR 2022 means that, after round 5, the teenager is ranked in 11th place in the World Standings.
