Leeds are among the clubs keen on signing Arsenal’s Ainsley-Maitland Niles when the summer transfer window opens.

Leeds are watching the situation with interest, while Crystal Palace are also apparently keen.

Monaco are also in the chase which would offer Maitland-Niles the chance to test himself in Ligue 1.

The report points out that Maitland-Niles is approaching the final two years of his Gunners deal.

And Mikel Arteta has apparently not decided yet whether to keep the 23-year-old next season or not.

The Englishman has played at left and right-back for Arsenal but his preferred position is in midfield.

Marcelo Bielsa expects his players to be able to play in a number of positions so that versatility would be an asset to him.

And Leeds look like an exciting club to play for, provided to meet the demands of the Argentine in terms of fitness and tactical intelligence.

Arsenal need to raise funds to revamp their squad and it seems that Maitland-Niles might be one sold in the summer to fund reinforcements.
