Simone Biles is widely recognised as the GOAT of gymnastics, with many even claiming she’s the greatest athlete of all time. The four-time Olympic gold medallist is currently competing in Tokyo looking to add to her already impressive medal haul. Away from gymnastics, she is also adding gold, but how much does Simone Biles make in endorsements?
Biles has far from perfect start to Olympics
Simone Biles and the U.S. women’s gymnastics team didn’t get off to the most emphatic of starts in Tokyo.
The Americans are the heavy gymnastics favourites heading into the games, but finished second behind the Russian Olympic Committee in women’s gymnastics team qualifying.
Biles made a series of uncharacteristic errors, but still finished first overall for the all-around competition.
She will compete in the final of all six events on Tuesday.

Simone Biles’ net worth and earnings from Olympics
Gymnastics takes up a huge part of Biles’ life, but interestingly enough, the sport only produces a fraction of her yearly earnings.
In the 2016 Olympics, gold medal winners took home $25,000 in cash, $15,000 for silver and $10,000 for bronze, according to Yahoo Finance.
They also report that this year, U.S. Olympians can expect to receive $37,500 for each gold medal they win, $22,500 for each silver, and $15,000 for each bronze.
With Biles taking home four gold medals and a bronze in the 2016 Olympics, she managed to earn a least $110,000, although the event is obviously the pinnacle of the sport.
However, according to Celebrity Net Worth, Simone Biles’ net worth is $6 million.
So where does all that come from?

How much does Simone Biles make in endorsements?
The majority of Simone Biles’ salary comes from endorsements, of which she has plenty.
Biles had a famous partnership with Tide prior to the 2016 Olympics, and also has deals with brands like Beats by Dre, Uber Eats, Oreo, United Airlines, and more.
She often posts adverts promoting these companies to her 4.7million Instagram followers.
According to Players Bio, Simone Biles makes and estimated $316,000 per year, which these endorsements contribute heavily towards.
“I’m very picky about the brands I work with,” she told Women’s Health in 2019. “Instead of just creating a product, they have to connect with a wider community and have an impact.”
