James Madison ace Odicci Alexander has become the face of this Women’s College World Series. 

Alexander was named Colonial Athletic Association Rookie Of The Year at JMU and earned CAA Player Of The Year honours as a sophomore and junior.

As a fifth-year senior, the 5ft 7in right-hander pitched the Dukes into the college softball spotlight with wins against OU and OSU. 

However, her run came to an end at the hands of No.1 Oklahoma.

University of Oklahoma came all the way back through the losers’ bracket to defeat James Madison, 7-1, for the second day in row on Monday to advance into the Championship Series.

The JMU star pitcher threw 88.6% of Dukes’ innings throughout the tournament and was key to their success.

Alexander ended her college career in tears as she left the field, but received an incredible standing ovation.
