Who is Marcus Spears’ wife, Aiysha? Meet the ex-WNBA player and partner of the regular First Take guest, as well as their children.

Marcus Spears is a former NFL defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens. He was born on 8 March 1983 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to father Ebray Spears and mother Irma Spears.

Spears attended Louisiana State University (LSU), where he was an All-American, before being drafted in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Cowboys.

Former NFL star moves into TV

Marcus retired in 2014 after nine seasons in the NFL, which is when he started his TV work. He initially joined ESPN as a college football analyst before moving to NFL Live in 2019, cementing his position as an analyst.

Spears also spent time on the SEC Network’s popular Saturday morning football pre-game show SEC Nation.

Marcus is now a regular on ESPN radio shows, as well as Get Up!, Sportscenter, and First Take, where he often appears opposite Stephen A Smith debating the hottest sports topics.
