Week 3 of the NFL regular season is almost in the books, with the 1-1 Eagles and Cowboys squaring off in the Monday Night Football game. So, with three games gone, what teams are undefeated and 3-0 in the NFL right now?
Seven teams headed into Week 3 undefeated
An undefeated regular season in the NFL is as rare as things come.
The 2007 New England Patriots were the most recent team to do so. However, even they lost Super Bowl XLII to the New York Giants, leaving them 18-1 for the season.

While teams accept a loss will eventually happen at some stage in the season, it’s still imperative to get off to the best possible start.
Heading into Week 3 of the NFL, seven teams remained undefeated.
However, this number was bound to go down as the Los Angeles Rams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced each other on Sunday.
So, what teams are undefeated and 3-0 in the NFL right now?
There are currently five NFL teams who are 3-0 on the season, and therefore undefeated.
Here they are in no particular order:
Los Angeles Rams
The Rams extended their unbeaten run on Sunday by beating Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.
Matthew Stafford passed for 343 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-24 victory at SoFi Stadium.
The quarterback has impressed so far this season, and was an important part of victories against Chicago and Indianapolis in previous weeks.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders have moved to 3-0 for the first time since 2002, the season they went to the Super Bowl.
They beat the Miami Dolphins 28-25 in overtime thanks to a 22-yard chip shot from kicker Daniel Carlson.
They beat the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 and followed that up with an impressive road win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals improved to 3-0 for the first time since 2015 with a hard-fought win over Jacksonville.
The Jaguars led 19-10 through three quarters but the Cardinals rallied in the fourth quarter thanks to Byron Murphy.
Arizona host the undefeated Rams next Sunday, with the Cardinals having lost eight straight in the series.
Denver Broncos
The Broncos made light work of their Week 3 game by beating the New York Jets 26-0.
Denver are now 3-0 for the first time in five years but face a more difficult challenge against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.
Carolina Panthers
Carolina remained unbeaten with a victory over the Texans on Thursday night.
The 24-9 victory at Houston came after wins against the Jets and Saints.
The Panthers take on Dallas next Sunday but will be without rookie Jaycee Horn and running back Christian McCaffrey through injury.
