Frank Gore Jr’s college career so far

Gore Jr was born in 2002 when his father was still at the University of Miami.

However, the former 49ers star didn’t initially plan for his son to play football.

During the elder’s stint with the Dolphins, the two were able to work out together and are said to have woken early every Saturday morning to take part in rigorous training.

Their hard work has obviously paid off as in 2019 Gore Jr, a three-star prospect at the time, committed to play football at University of Southern Mississippi.

Frank Gore Jr is currently a freshman with the Southern Miss Golden Eagles and plays as a running back wearing #3.

Gore Jr’s height is listed as 1.73m, while his weight is 83kg.

He has 1,234 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 18 career games so far in 2021.

In 2020, both Frank Gore Jr and Sr made waves after scoring a touchdown on the same weekend.

The younger Gore ripped off a 51-yard touchdown reception in the Golden Eagles’ 23-20 loss to UTSA, while the elder Gore scored for the Jets.

Southern Miss are currently 1-7 on the season and face North Texas on 11/6.
