Here’s some of the best Tony Jefferson memes after the Baltimore Ravens’ safety made a pretty stunning glasses admission on Twitter.

The NFL preseason is here and teams all around the country are in training camp preparing for a gruelling season.

The Baltimore Ravens had a massively disappointing end to last season. They finished the season on a six game losing streak to finish 8–9, missing the playoffs to come in last in the AFC North.

Of course, Ravens fans will put this down to the loss of superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson in Week 14. Both Jackson and the Ravens will be hoping he can stay healthy this year and lead the team back into the playoffs.

Tony Jefferson’s stunning glasses admission

The Ravens safety recently became the talk of NFL Twitter after his stunning glasses admission. Jefferson made a rather bizarre revelation on Wednesday night, revealing that he’s basically played most of his NFL career without seeing properly.

That’s because he decided to play without his prescribed glasses or contact lenses, the latter of which he even wore in college.

“I can’t even lie – I stopped wearing my glasses years ago and that might’ve been the dumbest thing I’ve done. I can see so much clearer and further with my glasses. It’s wild,” Jefferson said.

Tony Jefferson glasses memes flood Twitter

Fans were understandably shocked by the revelation, as the safety essentially admitted to playing blind for the past few years.

Before long, Tony Jefferson glasses memes flooded Twitter and some of them were hilarious.

He has sorted contacts now

Thankfully, Tony Jefferson has got his contacts in ready for the new season:

It is pretty amazing that he’s been able to play this long with impaired vision. Just imagine how much better he might have been if he could see properly?

Still, this is good news for the Ravens, who will need all the defensive help they can get this season if they’re to make the playoffs.
