We explain the meaning of LTTG clothing after Dak Prescott rocks a LTTG sweatshirt after beating Tom Brady and Tampa Bay.
The NFL Wild-Card Round concluded Monday night with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosting the Dallas Cowboys at Raymond James Stadium.
Going into the game Tom Brady had a perfect career record against the Cowboys with seven wins and zero losses. However, that streak was ended as he was outplayed by Dak Prescott who led his Cowboys team to a 31-14 victory.
The Dallas QB completed 25 of 33 passes for 305 yards and was without a turnover for the first time in eight games. He threw for for four touchdowns and ran in another as the Cowboys march on to next weekend’s divisional round where they face the 49ers.
Dak on the win and facing the Niners next
Speaking to ESPN after the win, Dak said (via BBC Sport): “We settled in, missed a couple early but we got in a groove able to show the run, run the ball a little bit and everything off of that started working.”
On the prospect of facing the San Francisco 49ers in next week’s divisional round he added: “They are a good team, they took us out last year we know what we have ahead of us and we have to look forward to another great week of preparation.”
Dak Prescott’s LTTG clothing brand meaning
Dak Prescott wore a LTTG sweatshirt on route to the game in Tampa last night as well as when he spoke to reporters after the game.
On social media, fans wondered what the meaning of LTTG is, posing the question online:
According to Senior NFL reporter Jori Epstein, LTTG means ‘Loyal To The Game’, and is a clothing company started by Dak’s childhood friend Jordan Craft.
“Perfect timing after playing like I did last week. Coming back, showing my loyalty to this game, preparation, staying at it.” Jordan reportedly told Dak he hasn’t lost when wearing the gear.
On the brand’s Instagram page they also tweeted a photo of Dak arriving to the game in one of their sweatshirts:
Fans come up with their own meaning
Of course, some fans cam up with their own meaning of LTTG online and some of them are pretty funny:
Speculation is now rife that last night’s game could well be Brady’s last game in Tampa Bay and possibly the NFL as a whole.
Not that the Cowboys will care about that. How ’bout them Cowboys?
