Grayson Allen is a divisive figure in the NBA. As a college player, he spent four years at Duke, leading them to a national championship in 2015. However, he built up a reputation over several tripping incidents, and his latest foul on Alex Caruso hasn’t endeared the Bucks player to fans.

Allen suspended for flagrant foul on Alex Caruso

Grayson Allen was ejected during a recent game against the Bulls for a flagrant 2-foul on Alex Caruso. The play occurred late in the third quarter as Caruso was driving for a layup. Allen undercut Caruso as he was in the air and used his left hand to hook Caruso’s right arm, sending the Bulls guard crashing to the floor. 

Although he has a certain reputation, this was his first flagrant foul of the season. It is only the second of his career, although he was ejected from a Summer League game in 2019 for picking up two flagrant fouls in quick succession.

Subsequently, the NBA revealed they had suspended Grayson Allen for one game for what it deemed was “unnecessary and excessive contact.

Who is Grayson Allen’s girlfriend Morgan Reid?

Grayson Allen’s girlfriend is Morgan Reid, whom he has been dating since 2018. Morgan and Grayson met while they were both at Duke, and both share a love of sports. Morgan is a soccer player who plays as a defender, and was drafted by the North Carolina Courage in the fourth round of the 2018 NWSL College Draft.

She is from a sporting family, as her dad Brian was a wrestler, while her mom Cheryl played basketball. They met at Ohio State University in the late 80s.

26-year-old Morgan was traded to the Orlando Pride in 2019 but was waived in 2020. She has also represented the the United States at the 2012 FIFA under-17 Women’s World Cup.
