Trae Young’s barber, Vic Blends, recently gave out free haircuts for NBA fans. However, said fans started to roast Trae’s hair without realising Vic was Trae’s barber.
Trae Young’s barber gives out free haircuts, people flame Trae’s cut
The Atlanta Hawks started their NBA season with a win after beating the Dallas Mavericks 113-87.
Trae Young scored 19 points and 14 assists, with the Hawks looking to go one better than last year’s Eastern Conference Finals.
However, while the Hawks guard was doing his thing on court, his barber, Vic Blends, was joking around off it.

Trae’s barber went around giving out free haircuts to NBA fans.
However, without realising it was Trae Young’s barber, people started to flame Trae’s haircut.
“I’ve never seen him with a fresh haircut. No offense, Trae Young,” one person said.
One person on Reddit wrote: ‘This is like the plot of a horror movie. You start thinking you’ve lucked into a free haircut and halfway through you find out it’s Trae Young’s barber and it’s too late to get away.”
Another added: “Dude has the worst hair in the league… I’m shocked this dude wants to take credit for it.”
Trae’s unconventional haircut has been used against him during games
Young has one of the more unconventional haircuts in the league and has often been the butt of jokes.
During the Hawks’ series vs the Knicks last year, flyers were being passed around Madison Square Garden encouraging fans to chant: “Trae is balding”.
The cruel message read: “At only 22 years old Trae’s hair is thinning at an alarmingly fast pace and he has a bald spot forming on the crown of his head.”
Trae has understandably never spoken about the matter, but his hair (or lack of) has proved to be a contentious issue.
Long-time friend Michael Porter Jr has joked about Trae’s hair before
In a feature for The Athletic last year, Chris Kirschner sat down with Trae’s long-time friend and fellow NBA player Michael Porter Jr.
In the piece, Michael jokes about Trae’s hair, saying: “People wouldn’t know that he thinks he has the best haircut in the world.
“He thinks he has the best haircut – seriously. He’s always in the mirror trying to get it right and I’m just like, ‘Dude, it’s over. I’m sorry.’ He thinks it’s so fresh. It’s not.”
