Meet Toriah Lachell, ex-girlfriend of Jayson Tatum and mom of Deuce

With the Boston Celticso on a roll during the NBA season, we find out more about their star Jayson Tatum’s ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Toriah Lachell.

Last season, Jayson Tatum made his first ever NBA Finals where he faced the Golden State Warriors. Despite his, and the Celtics best efforts, they were beaten in six games.

The Celtics star is one of the best young players in the league and he’ll be desperate to go one step further this year. This year he appears to have stepped up his game once again and is an MVP candidate.

Who is Toriah Lachell?

Toriah Machell is from St Louis, Missouri, and was born in February 2000, making her 22 years old.

Toriah is the daughter of Julie Gibbs, while her stepfather is John Gibbs, a graduate of Northwest High School. During their high-school days, Jayson and Toriah Lachell started dating. Jayson attended Chaminade College Preparatory School in Creve Coeur, although it is not clear if Lachell also went to the same school.

According to Toriah Lachell’s IG she played varsity soccer and softball for four years during her high school days.

Toriah became pregnant with Tatum’s child during his rookie year in the NBA and, on 7 December 2017, their son Jayson Christopher Tatum Jr, aka ‘Deuce’, was born. Jayson was 19 years of age.

Are her and Jayson still together?

Jayson Tatum and Toriah Lachell are no longer dating, although there is no information about when they split up. However, some reports suggest they went their separate ways not long after the birth of Deuce.

Toriah now runs an online hair business

Toriah is still an active and doting mother to Deuce. As far as her job, she became an accomplished hairstylist after attending beauty school. She reportedly moved to Boston four years ago.

Lachell is the owner of The Curl Bar Boston, a “natural hair salon empowering you to care for and embrace your hair”. The business has more than 5,000 followers on Instagram and Toriah has even shared photos of Deuce:
