Jrue Holiday is consistently ranked among the best defenders at the guard position in the NBA. Holiday is a four-time NBA All-Defensive Team member and was an integral part of the 2021 Milwaukee Bucks team who an NBA championship.

Who is Lauren Holiday? Meet Jrue Holiday’s famous wife
Jrue Holiday’s wife is Lauren Holiday (nee Cheney) who was a well-known professional soccer player. The 35-year-old played for the USA women’s team (USWNT) and has two Olympic medals and a World Cup medal to her name.
Lauren won gold with the national team at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, 2012 London Summer Olympics, and won the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

In 2007, Holiday was named US Soccer Young Female Athlete Of The Year. She also earned the US Soccer Female Athlete Of The Year award in 2014.
Despite such an impressive athletic career, Lauren has suffered a lot of injuries and health issues. In September 2016, Lauren was diagnosed with a brain tumour during her pregnancy. At the time she shared a powerful Instagram post explaining her condition:
Thankfully, the tumour was successfully removed and Lauren gave birth to Jrue Tyler Holiday, a baby girl, on 20 September 2016. However, this was the end of Lauren’s playing career.
In 2020 the couple had their second child. They named him Hendricks.
How did the couple meet?
Jrue and Lauren have been together since 2008 when they met at UCLA. Married in 2013, the couple have been together throughout their impressive playing careers.
Jrue and Lauren have always pushed each other to be the best.
Jrue said it’s not unusual to receive texts such as “we need to talk” and “you could have done more” after games.
The high standards they have set for each other and themselves since meeting at UCLA are why they have gone on to have such successful careers.
Both Jrue and Lauren have been incredibly supportive of each other’s careers. Lauren has been spotted at various NBA games over the years while in the Tokyo Olympics, Jrue wore the No.12 jersey – the same number Lauren wore with USWNT.
