During an interview with Amir Coffey after the recent Clippers vs Hawks game, reporter Kristina Pink fell over on-court, and afterwards provided an explanation into what happened.

Kristina Pink is a reporter for FOX Sports’ NFL coverage, teaming up with Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Mike Pereira and Erin Andrews. She also serves as a courtside reporter for the Los Angeles Clippers on Prime Ticket, and was recently covering the team’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.

However, during a postgame interview on the court, Kristina Pink fell over in what was a pretty nasty-looking incident. After, she explained on Twitter how it happened and gave fans an update.

The incident happened when she was speaking to Amir Coffey after he dropped 21 points in the Clippers’ 106-93 win against the Atlanta Hawks. At the conclusion of the interview, Kristina Pink took a hard fall and stayed down for a short while.

After the game, Pink explained how the fall happened and let her fans know she was doing ok. “For everyone asking, I’m ok,” she tweeted. “There was water on the court… Appreciate all the messages.”

The court was apparently wet due to the fact that Reggie Jackson and Terence Mann had celebrated Amir Coffey’s performance by pouring a load of water on his head. This clearly wasn’t picked up by the floor sweepers and it left a puddle of water around Pink, causing her to slip.

It was a pretty hard fall and the NBA may want to suggest that players avoid pouring water on each other in future, at least until sideline reporters are well out of the way.

Fans on Pink’s were glad she was ok though and sent her their best wishes.

Pink will no doubt be happy that the Clippers got the victory. Without the likes of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the Clips are still managing to win games and stay competitive. They currently sit ninth in the Western Conference standings and remain in and around playoff contention.
