What did CJ McCollum say about LeBron James on Twitter after the Warriors vs Lakers play in game? James was poked in the eye by Draymond Green in the fourth quarter and CJ McCollum took to Twitter to share his thoughts. Here’s what he said.

The Lakers and Golden States Warriors faced off in the play-in tournament on Wednesday night in what felt like a playoff game.

Much of the build-up before the game featured around LeBron James vs Steph Curry, and the action didn’t disappoint.

Here’s what went down, including CJ McCollum’s shots at LeBron.

LeBron James gets eye poked by Draymond Green

LeBron James put on a signature performance, dropping 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. The Lakers won a closely fought 103-100 victory over the Warriors.

Late in the fourth quarter, Draymond Green committed a hard foul against LeBron as he went up for a dunk.

James looked hurt but managed to carry on thanks to a few eye drops he received on the bench.

No.23 hit a big three down the stretch to put the Lakers ahead, which was all the more impressive given he was ‘seeing three rims’.

However, Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum wasn’t having any of it.

Blazers guard CJ McCollum was watching the game at home but was clearly sceptical about the extent of LeBron’s injury.

McCollum took to Twitter to call out LeBron’s theatrics.

James has missed numerous games this season due to a persistent ankle injury, but looked more like his usual self in the second half on Wednesday night.

The Lakers overcame a 13-point halftime deficit to win the game, and will be buoyed to see the return of James and Anthony Davis heading into the next round.

After clinching the 7th seed with the win, the Lakers will now face the no.2 seed Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs.

The Warriors will play the Memphis Grizzlies for the no.8 seed after Memphis beat San Antonio 100-96.
