Max Verstappen claimed a last-gasp world title in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as team boss Christian Horner helped guide him to the crown – but who is Horner’s wife, Geri?

Verstappen is just the second driver to win the world title in a Red Bull – after Sebastian Vettel between 2010-2013.

He was promoted to the senior Red Bull team in 2016, after Red Bull boss Christian Horner decided to replace Danill Kvyat with the Dutchman.

Horner has been Team Principal at Red Bull since it joined F1 in 2005, but who is his wife, Geri?

Christian Horner wife revealed

Horner has been in a relationship with Geri Halliwell since 2014.

The very same Geri Halliwell who is a member of the Spice Girls.

They married in May 2015 in Bedfordshire, and reside in Oxfordshire.

During her singing career, Halliwell was known as ‘Ginger Spice’ – a member of the five-strong group.

The Spice Girls have sold over 100 million records, and are the best-selling girl band of all time.

Halliwell is often seen at grands prix, supporting the Red Bull team or taking part in TV segments with broadcasters.

She was on-site in Abu Dhabi as Verstappen claimed the world title.

Do they have children?

Both Horner and Halliwell have children from previous relationships.

The Team Principal has a daughter from his marriage to ex-wife Beverley, and is step-father to Halliwell’s daughter from her previous relationship with Sacha Gervasi.

Together, the Horners have a son, who was born in January 2017.

What is his net worth?

Horner, a former racing driver himself in International F3000 in the late 1990s.

His career fizzled out and he turned to team management when Red Bull joined F1 in 2005.

During his time as team principal, Horner has accumulated a net worth of around $50 million.

He was awarded a CBE for services to motorsport by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 2013.
