How to vote for F1 Driver of the Day

After every race is won, it is revealed on the live broadcast which driver secured the most votes to be awarded honour of Driver of the Day (DOTD).

The concept of DOTD was introduced in 2016 to bring fans closer to the action and allow them to have a say on proceedings.

Fans vote for who they think had the stand-out drive of the race, and isn’t necessarily awarded to the eventual race winner.

The voting result has no effect on the race itself, with voting only beginning when the race starts.

Fans are limited to one vote each, with voting closing when the checkered flag waves.

To vote, fans simply have to go to the Formula One website. They can then share their vote on social media should they wish to.
