Dodgers fans want to know who 'mystery' man sat next to Mary Hart is

The LA Dodgers are currently playing in the best-of-five NLDS against the San Diego Padres. During the game, fans wondered who sits next to Mary Hart at Dodgers games.

The Dodgers outlasted the San Diego Padres 5-3 on Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium to take Game 1 of the best-of-five NLDS.

However, during the game, fans wondered who the blonde lady sat behind home plate at Dodger Stadium is. That person is Mary Hart, who was a long-time co-hostess of popular entertainment TV magazine show Entertainment Tonight.

She was also Miss South Dakota 1970, and has been a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers for a number of years.

She has even performed the national anthem prior to games.

Hart spotted with ‘mystery’ person vs Padres

During the game, some fans wanted to know who sits next to Mary Hart at Dodgers’ games.

Fans mentioned the elderly gentleman on social media but struggled to identify him. It’s not the first time either – last season Mary was also spotted with the gentleman:

So, who sits next to Mary Hart at Dodgers games?

Well, it seems the person who sits next to Mary Hart at Dodgers games is her husband!

Hart’s husband is Bert Sugarman, who regularly attends games with his wife.

Sugarman is a film and TV producer best-known for creating iconic show The Midnight Special, the 1970s/early 1980s showcase for rock ‘n’ roll bands.

Burt is also the creator of the 1970’s game show Celebrity Sweepstakes, The Richard Pryor Show, Whew! And The Wizard of Odds.

Mary and Bert married in a private ceremony in 1989 and have one son, Alec “AJ” Sugarman, born in 1991. They enjoy attending Dodgers games together – particularly during the playoffs – and some fans were pleased to see them again this year:

The Dodgers and Padres will face off again in Dodger Stadium for Game 2 on Wednesday at 8:37 p.m. ET.
