Here’s everything we know about Manny Machado’s wife, Yainee Alonso, who has been with the Padres star since he was a highly-touted youngster.
Manny Machado is one of the best fielders in Major League Baseball, and since being drafted by the Baltimore Orioles with the third overall pick has gone on to become a six-time All-Star.
Machedo, who was born and raised in Miami, Florida, was later traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers where he helped the team reach the World Series in 2018.
That offseason, the San Diego Padres and Manny inked a 10-year deal worth $300 million. The contract made him the highest paid athlete in North American sports at the time.
On 9 October, his Padres dumped the New York Mets out of the MLB playoffs. The Padres beat the Mets 2-1 in the wildcard series, and will now face the top-seeded Los Angeles Dodgers in a best-of-five Division Series.
