Meet Teoscar Hernandez’ wife Jennifer and their family after it was announced the Blue Jays outfielder had been traded to the Mariners.

Teoscar Hernandez is an outfielder who has played for the Houston Astros, and, until recently, Toronto Blue Jays.

Hernandez was an All-Star in 2021 and has won two Silver Slugger Awards. Last season, he hit .267/.316/.491 in 131 games with the Blue Jays, in what would be his final year with the team.

Teoscar Hernandez traded to Mariners

On Wednesday (16 November) it was revealed that Hernandez had been traded to the Seattle Mariners. Jeff Passan of ESPN initially broke the news, withErik Swanson and Adam Macko involved in the exchange.

Hernandez has been one of the longest tenured Blue Jays since the team received him in a trade for Francisco Liriano in 2017.

Per Yahoo Sports!, Hernandez is now entering the final year of his contract. Barring a long-term extension with the Mariners, Hernandez will hit the free-agent market following the 2023 MLB season.

Meet Teoscar Hernandez’ wife and their family

Teoscar Hernandez’ wife is Jennifer Hernandez, whom he has three children with: Julian, Teoscar Jr. and Mateo Javier.

On Mother’s Day this year, Teoscar paid tribute to his wife and thanked her being the ‘best mother’.

‘Happy Mother’s Day my love’, he wrote on Instagram. ‘thank you for being the best mother to our children I hope God spills infinite blessings on you and gives you lots of life and health I love you.’

The couple only welcomed their third child in September 2022.

Teoscar is evidently a family man and often counts his blessings on social media.

On Jennifer’s birthday this year he wrote the following message about her: ‘On this special day I want to thank God because he allows you to meet another year of life full of health and infinite blessings.

‘I hope in God that you give long life and that every day allows us to continue more united full of harmony par to see our grow Little men. I love you @jenniferhx3;happy birthday my queen. thank you for being the best mother God could have given me for our children’.
