Liverpool may be on the brink of their first ever Premier League title, but they can be sure that their rivals will bounce back and the real hard work starts in trying to remain the best.

Jurgen Klopp has built a formidable side at Anfield in the last few years with a lethal attacking force and a resilient defence, but perhaps one area they could look to strengthen on Merseyside is in the centre of the park.

The Reds have plenty of power and work-rate in the midfield through the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Fabinho.

There are also teammates such as Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and up-and-coming youngster Curtis Jones who can look to add an extra attacking edge.

But the Liverpool midfield could perhaps do with some more creativity next term, which is why they should look at giving Aaron Ramsey a path back to the Premier League.

Ramsey has spent the majority of his playing career with Arsenal, but he ended an 11-year stay with them when he departed for Italian giants Juventus back in the 2019 summer window.

The Daily Mail now reports that Juventus are open to selling the 29-year-old just a year after signing him, as they need to try reduce their large wage bill.

It is claimed that two top teams in England have been alerted to the Wales international ahead of the next window.

The report explains that his current £400,000-a-week wage present an obstacle, which is why he would have to take a wage cut to leave Juventus or possibly leave on loan.

Liverpool certainly shouldn’t go anywhere near paying Ramsey’s gigantic wages, but if they can negotiate a sensible deal he’s exactly the type of player that would fit Klopp’s style.

The central midfielder has shown during his career he’s got a real eye for goal when pushing forward, plus he’s got the stamina needed to slot into the current Liverpool team.

He’s shown on his day that he can be a real top-class player and is definitely someone that Klopp should be looking at as a potential target.
