Leeds United have quashed reports linking the club with a move for Tottenham defender Juan Foyth.
It had been claimed that the Whites were keen to add the 22-year-old, but according to the Yorkshire Evening Post that isn’t the case.
Some reports had suggested the centre-back would be arriving at Elland Road ahead of next season.
The Argentinean has fallen down the pecking order at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and will probably depart during the transfer window.
Foyth has made just seven appearances during 2019/20, starting just once in the Premier League under Jose Mourinho.

It seems as though Leeds don’t currently have the ex-Estudiantes man on their radar, but perhaps they should do.
Ben White has been instrumental for the Whites this season, with his ball-playing qualities catching the eye.
He will almost certainly have a part to play at Brighton next season and the chances of a permanent deal look extremely slim.
That would leave Liam Cooper and the ageing Gaetano Berardi as the only central defensive options for Bielsa to choose from.
Adding another central defender looks imperative and one who is similar to White would prove ideal for Leeds.
Foyth has lost his way at Tottenham and next season needs to be the campaign where he clocks up regular game time.

Bielsa is a master as nurturing young talent and that makes Foyth look like an ideal signing for the Whites.
Teaming up with his compatriot at Leeds would surely be an attractive proposition for the Spurs defender.
He would play plenty of football and Elland Road could be the perfect destination for him to really ignite his career.
Foyth signed for Tottenham for £8 million back in 2017. With that in mind, it seems unlikely that the enforcer will be allowed to leave North London on the cheap.
Leeds looked destined for the Premier League before the pandemic break though and with that would come a serious amount of money to spend.
The club might be defiant at the moment that Foyth isn’t part of their window plans, but they could do a lot worse.

Leeds have plenty of talented players who could be capable of taking the Premier League by storm.
The likes of Kalvin Phillips, Jamie Shackleton and Tyler Roberts could form part of the team for years to come.
Ultimately though, Leeds’ maiden season back in the top flight could be decided by the defensive recruits the club makes.
Juan Foyth would be an impressive start to their transfer window and performing a U-turn with regards to signing him would represent a strong start to the transfer window.
