Leeds United have been heavily linked with a move for creative midfielder Rodrigo de Paul this summer, as per Leeds Live.

But reports over the weekend also provided two alternative options in the same position.

The Telegraph report the Whites are interested in Todd Cantwell at Norwich City.

Meanwhile, the YEP carry a report that Bayern Munich starlet Michael Cuisance is of interest.

According to the Telegraph, Cantwell is valued around £15 million by Norwich in the wake of their relegation from the Premier League.

He is the more familiar option here, having played in the top flight last season and scoring seven goals in that maiden campaign.

Cantwell is versatile and energetic, capable of playing in central midfield or out wide.

At 22, he’s got a big future, but what about Cuisance?

He’s an incredibly exciting option, and as per the YEP, is rated highly by Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.

The former winger praised Cuisance’s technical ability and mentality and that in theory makes him an ideal Bielsa player.

The other important thing to consider here is that Bielsa can change players almost beyond all recognition.

So it’s all about which one has the basic raw materials that Bielsa can take and transform into a Premier League player.

Cuisance perhaps has the greater potential and would be incredibly intriguing, but Cantwell has shown he can handle the demands of the Premier League.
