Here’s a round-up of the latest transfer rumours surrounding Leeds.

Earlier this week we reported on Leeds’ links to Erick Pulgar and Christian Kouame, Daniel James, Kouadio Kone and Ryan Christie.

Here are some of the juiciest transfer rumours involving Leeds United.

Possible signings

Fikayo Tomori

Marcelo Bielsa has been heavily affected by injuries to his leading centre-backs this season. Robin Koch and Diego Llorente have both been spending time on the sidelines in recent weeks.

The manager is, therefore, said to be looking for some short-term cover at the back. And the BBC claims he has identified Chelsea outcast Fikayo Tomori as his top target.

The 23-year-old has played just 45 minutes of top-flight action this season. He has already had loan spells away from the Blues at Brighton, Hull and Derby.

Lucas Vazquez

The Real Madrid star recently rejected a new deal with the Spanish giants, as reported by Marca.

And his decision has allegedly alerted Bielsa, who has been monitoring the situation in recent weeks.

Riqui Puig

There is, however, unfortunate news for Bielsa coming out of Spain. Young midfielder Riqui Puig has signed a new contract at Real’s rivals Barcelona, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.

He had also been a reported target for the Yorkshire outfit. But the Premier League side will now have to look elsewhere for fresh talent in central midfield.

Luke Mbete

Another centre-back linked with a switch to Yorkshire is Manchester City youngster Luke Mbete.

According to The Athletic, the 17-year-old’s displays in City’s academy have caught the eye of Leeds in recent months.

Juventus are also reportedly interested in his signature. The teenager garnered further attention recently, having been named on Pep Guardiola’s bench for Sunday’s meeting with Chelsea.
