Juan Mata was offered an eye-watering amount of money to leave Manchester United this summer.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, an unnamed Saudi Arabian club were in for the playmaker.
They claim that their offer to Mata was 20 million euros per year, which is just over £18 million.
That works out to around £350,000 per week, but Mata apparently rejected the proposal.

Mata apparently wants to see out the final year of his contract at Old Trafford.
Crucially, he feels United have a chance of lifting silverware under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season.
Solskjaer guided United to three semi-finals but lost every single one, but Mata is confident the club can go one better this time around.
Mata would have been effectively ending his career as a top level player in return for one last payday in Saudi Arabia.

It has been a gloomy start to the season for United, with the effects of the 6-1 home defeat against Tottenham still being felt.
Mata has been among their better players when afforded starts in the EFL Cup.
With uncertainly over the right wing position, it might be time for Mata to get the nod in the Premier League and Champions League, when it returns later this month.
That would be a reward for snubbing a lucrative summer exit.
