The Ultimate Fighter season 29 – who are the coaches?
The hotly anticipated season 29 of the iconic fighting reality series will, as ever, feature two of the UFC’s best fighters.
The new season’s coaches will be two men at the top of the UFC featherweight division. These will be with 145lb champion Alexander Volkanovski and the #2 ranked featherweight contender Brian Ortega.

The pair were originally planned to fight at UFC 260 in March but it was cancelled due to Volanovski catching covid.
On a recent appearance of The Joe Rogan Experience, ‘The Great’ let slip when the rearranged fight will be.
He said: “From what I’m told, and I don’t know if I’m going to get in trouble saying this, I’m not sure. But I think it’s September, early September. I’m guessing (in the United States).”
TUF season 29 – who are the fighters?
As always, the 29th season of The Ultimate Fighter will feature two divisions. This season will feature the bantamweight division and the middleweight division.
There will be 16 fighters in total, eight in each division.

How to watch The Ultimate Fighter season 29 in the UK
TUF 29 premiered on Tuesday, 1 June 2021 in the US, with new episodes available on ESPN+.
However, American viewers will need to buy a subscription for ESPN+.

The first episode of TUF 29 airs on BT Sport on Wednesday 2 June at 9.30pm on BT Sport 3 HD.

The Ultimate Fighter season 29 finale
As ever, the top two contestants from each weight class will battle it out in the TUF 29 Finale later this year.
The exact date of the finale is yet to be confirmed, but the winners will earn a “six-figure” UFC contract and the promotion’s glass trophy.
