Houston man Jordan Capuchino's death in robbery has family demanding justice

Jordan Capuchino, a 20-year-old Houston resident, was shot and killed outside a club in Texas following a robbery on Saturday.

After his friend’s necklace was stolen, Jordan followed the thieves to try to get it back but was cornered and shot at. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Jordan’s mother has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for his funeral and shared a heartbreaking post where she told her son’s killers that they will face justice.

Tributes for the young man have been pouring in online, as well as condolences for his family who are mourning the loss of Jordan.

Jordan Capuchino dies in Houston shooting

At around 2:30 am on Saturday, Jordan Capuchino was shot and killed outside the Volcan Club near I-45 and West Little York.

ABC13 reported that Houston Police Department officers say Jordan and his friends were in the club parking lot when three men approached them and robbed one of Jordan’s friends of a necklace.

Jordan and his friends followed the robbers and were led to a cul-de-sac, where they became trapped and Jordan was shot. He was shot multiple times by at least two of the suspects.

After being taken to the hospital, Jordan was pronounced dead. Authorities are currently searching for the suspects.

Court records said the gold necklace stolen was worth $7,000, click2houston reported.

Jordan’s family mourns the 20-year-old

Following the news of his death, Jordan’s mother took to Facebook where she uploaded a picture of her son smiling into the camera.

She wrote below that he was killed, and stated that she will “not stop” until “everyone responsible is caught and brought to justice.”

“I will fight move earth and water but you will be caught,” Laura Capuchino wrote.

She said that the killers had taken away a big part of her life and asked followers to share her post so “they can know I won’t stop.”

Donations for Capuchino family’s GoFundMe pour in

Jordan’s mother has set up a GoFundMe page aiming to raise $15,000 to cover the cost of the funeral and “other out-of-pocket costs incurred by this tragedy.”

The page states: ‘The Capuchino Family has suffered a significant loss with the sudden death of their beloved Son, Jordan Capuchino.’

They described Jordan as a “soft-spoken, gentle, genuine soul with a huge heart,” and said that his passing has “completely devastated everyone who knew and loved him.”

In addition to donations, the Family has also asks for “thoughts and fervent prayers” during this time of grieving.

Tributes for Capuchino flood Facebook

Tributes for Jordan and condolences for his family following their tragic loss have been flooding in online. Many well-wishers have been commenting on Laura’s Facebook post, offering their thoughts and prayers.

“My heart goes out to you and the family. I’m so sorry this happened. These people need to be caught! I’m here for you and you are in my prayers!” one person wrote.

Another said: “Words are not enough. Condolences and may God wrap his loving arms around you and your family. Prayers.”

One friend said that they have “fond memories of Jordan” and are “broken at this tragic news.” Someone else described Jordan as “one of the sweetest boys” and sent their prayers and love to the Capuchino family.
