Fans want to know more about Scottie Scheffler’s wife Meredith Scudder as the Masters champion bids for a second major at the US Open.
Scottie Scheffler is a professional golfer on the PGA Tour and Ryder Cup rookie. The 25-year-old from Ridgewood, New Jersey, was named the PGA Tour’s rookie of the year in 2020.
In that same season, Scheffler tied for fourth at the PGA Championship. He followed that by finishing tied seventh at the 2021 US Open and tied eighth at The Open Championship.
He then secured his second PGA Tour title with a one-shot win over Viktor Hovland, Tyrrell Hatton and Billy Horschel at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Three weeks later Scheffler won the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play and moved to world number one.
Scheffler then won the 2022 Masters, his first major victory, defeating Rory McIlroy by three strokes.
Who is Scottie Scheffler’s wife?
Scottie Scheffler’s wife is long-time girlfriend Meredith Scudder. Before marrying, the couple dated for six years after meeting at Highland Park High School in Texas.
Scheffler was a stand-out golfer at Texas. However, Scudder attended their in-state rival Texas A&M. Scheffler would often meet his future wife on campus, with them both graduating in 2018.
The couple married in December 2020 after Scottie popped the question in June that year.
He proposed while they were hiking in the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve.

Scheffler’s wife and family joined him at the Arnold Palmer International earlier in the season. They were able to celebrate with him after the golfer sealed victory.
