Danny Willett is off to a great start at this year’s Open Championship. Fans want to know more about the Englishman, his wife and personal life.

Danny won his first major championship at the 2016 Masters Tournament, becoming only the second Englishman to do so.

Danny was also the first European in 17 years to win at Augusta National.

Willett is currently ranked as number 105 in the world. Previously he has been as high as number 12,.

Who is Danny Willet’s wife?

Danny Willett’s wife is Nicole Harris, whom he married back in 2013.

Willett’s caddie Sam Haywood was his best-man for the wedding, as they continued to build a strong friendship throughout the PGA Tour.

Danny and Nicole have a great relationship and she is very supportive of his career.

In 2020, during the UK Championships, the couple wanted to spend more time together so Nicole became his caddie for the event.

Willett said at the time: “This week is one where I said, you know what, my wife and I haven’t had more than two hours alone in seven months, especially with me playing so much in America since the PGA Tour came out of lockdown.”

He continued: “With everything being pretty strict over here inside the ‘bubble’ I thought it would be a good decision to have her here.”

The Willetts’ family life

Danny and Nicole have two children together, two boys called Zachariah and Noah.

His son Zachariah was born on the 29 March 2016, just a few days before Danny’s 2016 Masters win. Noah was born two years later in 2018.

The family live in Rotherham, Yorkshire, the birthplace of their children too.

It is reported that they also have a house in Orlando, Florida, which allows the family and Danny to stay together between European and PGA Tours.
