Bryson DeChambeau looked insanely ripped recently as he prepared to meet old foe Brooks Koepka at The Match in Las Vegas.

Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau are competing in the latest version of the The Match today.

At the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas, the two former Major champions will do battle across 12 holes while raising money for charity.

Bryson DeChambeau looks insanely ripped ahead of The Match

Bryson has been in Las Vegas for the past few days preparing for the event. He uploaded several pictures with his family, including his parents, to social media.

They spent Thanksgiving in a Vegas hotel, and while it’s not exactly traditional, it did look pretty wholesome.

He wrote: Happy Thanksgiving to the best fam I could ask for! So blessed and grateful for everything we have all been given. No time to stop though lets keep it moving forward!’

However, it was another photo that caught the eye of fans.

On Thursday 25 November, the golfer uploaded a picture of himself to his Instagram Stories.

Presumably taken by girlfriend Sophia Phalen Bertolami, Bryson DeChambeau looked incredibly ripped with a white towel wrapped around him.

He captioned the image, ‘Hardwork Never Sleeps. Inspire To Be Better.’

DeChambeau’s incredible bulk-up has been well-documented

DeChambeau is known on the PGA Tour as the powerful, protein-drinking, weight-lifter who has bulked-up incredibly over the years.

He reportedly packed on 20kg of muscle in just nine months in 2019. At the time he promised to look “like a different person” for the 2019-20 PGA Tour season.

And he did just that, going up to just over 17st (107kg) by working out religiously. His most recent regime consisted of ‘building symmetrical strength in his core through exercises that focused on trunk rotation, trunk flexion, leg flexion, back extension, and side bends.

In terms of his diet, DeChambeau told Men’s Health: “I’ve tried the keto diet and all these things, but what I’ve found is that as long as I’m keeping a 2:1 ratio of carbs to protein, that works for me.”

Bryson is driving further than ever

The extra power has massively impacted his golf game, as Bryson has become the biggest driver on the PGA Tour. His average drive now goes more than 320 yards – the longest on the PGA Tour by more than a yard.

The average speed of his drives is just shy of 140mph, and his epic 417-yard drive at the Ryder Cup will live long in the memory.

That extra weight and power has seen him enter the Professional Long Drivers Association World Championships, where he finished 7th recently.

DeChambeau’s longest drive of the final day was 406 yards. On one drive, he even hit the 219mph mark.

“Getting the 219 mph ball speed out here was a dream come true,” DeChambeau said. “I never thought I would get to that type of speed. I broke the barrier by three miles an hour faster than I’ve ever gone in my entire life.”
