After his heroics against the Memphis Tigers in this year’s NCAA Tournament, we find out more about Drew Timme’s rumored girlfriend Laurent Hunt and his parents.

Drew Timme is a college basketball player for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, who are currently competing in the NCAA Tournament.

The 21-year-old recently helped Gonzaga see out a huge second-half comeback against the Memphis Tigers to earn the Bulldogs another Sweet 16 berth. We find out more about Drew Timme’s rumored girlfriend, Lauren Hunt, and his parents.

Drew Timme’s parents and family

The Gonzaga star grew up in the northern Dallas suburb of Richardson, Texas, and attended JJ Pearce High School. Drew Timme’s parents are Matt and Megan Timme.

His father Matt played college basketball at Southern Methodist University and had a brief stint playing overseas in Europe. Matt married Megan after returning to the US following his time in Europe. Athletic genes clearly run in Timme’s family as his mother played tennis at Stephen F Austin State University.

Drew has a younger brother, Walker Timme, who is a senior at Richardson’s JJ Pearce High School.

Drew Timme’s rumored girlfriend Lauren Hunt

Drew Timme’s girlfriend is reportedly Lauren Hunt, who he met in high school. The pair have yet to officially confirm their relationship. However, dating rumours began when Timme shared a photo with Lauren on Instagram.

Lauren is on Instagram @laurenhuntt_ where she has more than 2,386 followers.

The Focus reached out to Drew Timme for comment on his rumored relationship with Lauren.

Timme tries to censor himself in hilarious interview

Timme was integral in leading Gonzaga to an 82-78 win over Memphis. In his post-game interview he was asked what he told his team in the locker room at half-time when the Bulldogs were down 41-31.

“I said, ‘I don’t give a flying F what happens at the end of the game. Whether we lose or win, we’re not going out as no soft guys,” he said.

He then joked it was harder than it looks.
