Bellator star and Conor McGregor’s good pal Dillon Danis is in the news again, this time for having a physical altercation before UFC 268.
The 28-year-old is never too far from the news, is he? From causing a brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov to getting into a war of words with Jake Paul, Danis has done it all, but not many people would’ve expected what he got himself into this time.
Before we get into that what happened backstage at UFC 268, let’s take a look at how Danis is doing in 2021 as many fans are wondering about the amount of money he has made over the years.
If you’re one of those MMA fans keen to learn about his net worth, you’ve come to the right place.

Dillon Danis: Net worth in 2021
According to BioOverview, Danis’ net worth in 2021 is estimated to be around $3 million, a cool $500,000 increase from last year.
Best known for being a part of McGregor’s group, Danis isn’t too bad a fighter himself. Of course, he’s nowhere near good enough for the UFC just yet, but if he keeps his head down and works hard, he could well get there.
Most of Danis’ income comes from being a fighter for Bellator. The outlet claims that he earns in excess of $30,000 every month and his annual income is over $400,000, which is not bad at all.
Danis gets into trouble at UFC 268
Nobody knows why Danis was there at UFC 268 last weekend, but he was. In typical fashion, he made the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Danis reportedly got into an altercation with Ali Abdelaziz, MMA’s most popular manager in recent years. Thing got physical and if rumours are to be believed, the latter slapped Danis right across the face. (MMA Fighting)
In a now-deleted tweet, MMA legend Michael Bisping confirmed that the altercation did happen and Danis got into trouble. He claimed that Bellator fighter was ‘ejected out’ of the arena and is now banned from all UFC events. (MMA Fighting)
We’re not quite sure if the second part is true, but if it is, Danis’ hopes of emulating his idol, McGregor, are now over.
Beef with Al Iaquinta
Al Iaquinta’s return at UFC 268 wasn’t a great one but everybody in the MMA world knows that he is among the craziest fighters out there. Danis apparently had his problems with Raging once, and things could’ve gotten real ugly.
Speaking about what happened, Iaquinta said, as per MMA Mania: “I was in Manhattan one night with a bunch of my friends. We were going to a party and he (Danis) couldn’t get in. He couldn’t get in. I was waiting in line with my buddy and a few other people waiting to get in.
“He came to me. I think he couldn’t get in so he was going to try and hop in with us. He was like, ‘Yo Al!’ kind of thing. First off, I have enough friends. I don’t need a friend out of Dillon Danis. Plus, I’m pretty sure he said some stuff on Twitter. I was like, ‘Dude, I’m just going to hang out with my friends. Have a goodnight.’
“He got mad that I kind of gave him the cold shoulder and the attitude changed. I was like, ‘Dude, if you have a problem, I’ll fight. Let’s f—king go right now. You’ve got an injured knee. I will kick your kneecap across the street right this second.’
“His friends stepped in and I didn’t get an assault charge because that was guaranteed wherever this was leading.”
