The WWE superstar was involved in a shocking incident on Monday Night Raw. Police have since identified the fan who allegedly attacked Seth Rollins.
Wrestling superstar Seth Rollins was attacked during an episode of WWE Raw on Monday, 22 November.
The incident happened at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Rollins was walking to the back after a match with Finn Balor when a fan came out of nowhere and appeared to attack him.

Footage of the attack circulates on social media
35-year-old Rollins was clearly caught off-guard by the surprise attack. The fan in question appeared to hop the rails separating fans from the wrestlers, taking down the unsuspecting Rollins.
Footage then showed Rollins attempting to get the fan off him before security rushed in to help. The fan was quickly tackled by referees and security guards and escorted from the arena.
Footage of the attack on Rollins circulated on social media, including the fan being taken away.
Who was the fan who attacked Seth Rollins?
On Tuesday, multiple reports stated NYPD had identified the fan who allegedly attacked Seth Rollins as Elisah Spencer.
24-year-old Elisah Spencer, of Brooklyn, is accused of leaving his seating section and jumping the barrier to attack Rollins, as reported by Fox News. ESPN reports he faces charges of attempted assault and attempted violation of arts and cultural affairs (disrupting a live sporting event).
ESPN’s Marc Raimondi also reported the NYPD’s response to the incident.
Police said Rollins sustained swelling to his lip and refused medical attention.
“WWE takes the safety of its performers very seriously. The individual who attacked Seth Rollins has been turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” WWE told Fox News in a statement.

Thankfully, Rollins was OK to carry on. Later in the night he reappeared to confront Kevin Owens, who walked out on his Survivor Series team the night before.
Rollins had teamed up with the likes of Owens, Balor, Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory. They faced a team comprising Drew McIntryre, Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, Happy Corbin and King Woods.
