Here’s everything we know about Caleb Williams’ parents, father Carl Williams and mother Dayna Price, after the USC quarterback won this year’s Heisman Trophy.

Caleb Williams is the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner. The 21-year-old threw for 4,075 yards, 37 touchdowns, and only four interceptions, as well as rushing for 372 yards and 10 TDs. However, a hamstring injury at the end of the season meant he was compromised in the Pac-12 title game against the Utah Utes.

Utah won the Championship Game 47-24, meaning USC and Williams will not be in the College Football Playoff.

The Heisman Trophy was presented Saturday in New York this Saturday (10 December). The four finalists included Williams, TCU’s Max Duggan, Ohio’s CJ Stroud, and Georgia’s Stetson Bennett.

What we know about Caleb Williams’ parents and family

The promising young quarterback was born on 18 November 2001 in Washington DC. Caleb Williams’ parents are father Carl Williams and mother Dayna Price, who were photographed with him at his graduation from Gonzaga College High School.

Caleb Williams’ parents have supported him through his young career and are one of the main reasons for his staying grounded.

“He comes from a really good family,” former coach Randy Trivers told Tulsa World. “His mom and dad, foremost, are really good people. So we don’t want to sit here and take all the credit for who Caleb is as a person. His parents are really good-hearted and loving people who have raised their son well. They need to be credited foremost.”

Carl Williams has had a major impact on Caleb’s football career

Speaking ahead of Caleb’s decision to transfer to USC, father Carl said: “Professional development. We want Caleb to be ready to play when he becomes a pro. You go to college to get prepared for your career. His chosen career path is professional football. We want him to be prepared for when that time comes.”

Carl is a co-owner of Athletic Republic Capitol Region, a sports performance training center notable for producing top collegiate recruits and professional athletes. The facility is located in District Heights, Maryland, just 10 miles due east of our nation’s Capitol

The center has had a profound impact on Caleb’s development and allowed him to hone his skills to become the player he is today.

Caleb Williams’ mom is a nail technician

After transferring to USC last year, Williams spoke with ABC’s Robin Roberts on Good Morning America, where he explained the origins of painting his nails.

He revealed that the nails are inspired by his nail technician mother, Dayna Price. Williams said: “My mom was my inspiration. I mean, she’s been doing nails since I could remember. And she’s always done it. I think since she was probably like 14, she’s always done it.”

“So, that was a little time before I was born. And so ever since I was born, she’s been doing it. I would always sit around or just you know, either I’m playing my game or I’ll mess my mom, I still mess my mom a lot. So I was playing my game, messing with my mom, and kind of just sitting there she’d always do my nails. I didn’t get paint on him, but she’d always do ’em.”
