BBC pundit Garth Crooks claims Fulham would’ve beaten Liverpool yesterday but for Jordan Henderson.
He named Henderson in his team of the week after the 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage.
The England international was moved back to centre half at half time as the Reds looked to recover a 1-0 deficit.
Henderson missed a clear chance to equalise, but Crooks was impressed with how he drove his side forward.

“This was a very difficult fixture for Liverpool. It shouldn’t have been but they played Champions League in midweek and it took its toll,” said Crooks. If you want to be the best team in Europe, that’s what you have to do.
“No Jordan Henderson in this side and Liverpool lose this game. Ravaged by injury, I get the feeling the Reds might be feeling a little sorry for themselves but not Henderson.
“Liverpool are facing a gruelling period but I bet captain fantastic plays in every (game).
“Henderson regained possession 14 times, more than any other player and made more interceptions than any other Liverpool man (3).”

Liverpool were not at the races at all yesterday until Fulham scored, but Henderson never stopped driving them forward.
He did miss a big chance to win the game, but steadied the backline when he went in there, even playing out of position.
The Reds skipper won’t let his own standards slip and that was rightly praised by Crooks.
On another day, he would’ve been the match-winner.
