Bayer Leverkusen are plotting a transfer raid on north London, according to the Telegraph.
They report that the money the German club have brought in for Kai Havertz will be re-invested in the right back position.
Two players who are reportedly attracting interest from elsewhere have caught their eye as well.
The report says that Serge Aurier and Hector Bellerin are attracting interest from the German outfit, who will play in next season’s Europa League.
Havertz’s departure to join Chelsea has given them money to spend and they are clearly keen to strengthen at right back.
It seems highly unlikely they’d sign both, so it appears to be a case of which of the north London rivals is most open to a sale.
Given that Spurs have just signed right back Matt Doherty from Wolves, perhaps they will be most open to a sale.
There have been reports linking Aurier with AC Milan (Sky Sports) in order to raise funds to spend on the rest of the squad.
As per the Guardian, Bellerin isn’t a player Arsenal actively want to sell.
But amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain, they claim Mikel Arteta would be open to selling the right back in order to fund reinforcements elsewhere.
