A video recently went viral of retired Manchester United player Paul Scholes and his daughter, Alicia. The video which featured Paul appearing to bite Alicia’s toenails was posted to her Instagram page. Having received a lot of attention online the video has since had fans of the footballer wondering who exactly his daughter is. We looked into her age, Instagram and what she does.

Who is Alicia Scholes?

Born in Manchester on 8 May 2001, Alicia Scholes is 20 as of 2021, making her a Taurus.

Scholes is a netball player at Manchester Thunder netball club and played in her first international tournament in 2018. Scholes has toured Australia twice as part of the under 17 and under 19 teams.

According to her Instagram, Scholes has travelled to many sunny holiday locations including Greece and Spain.

Who are Alicia Scholes parents?

Alicia is the daughter of ex-footballer for Manchester United, Paul Scholes. Since retiring from football, Paul continues his career as a coach and co-owner of Salford City.

Paul, 46, played as a midfielder and scored over 150 goals for Manchester United between 1993 and 2013.

In 1999, Paul married Alicia’s mother, Claire Froggatt, 45. Claire and Alicia appear to have a close relationship as she shared a photo of the pair enjoying their Christmas together in 2020.

What video was posted to Alicia Scholes Instagram?

The recent video that caught the attention of Scholes Instagram followers saw her father, Paul biting her toenails.

Although many were quick to react to the post with confusion, Scholes captioned the post, “true love”, appearing to be making a joke with her father.

As many have since taken to Twitter to share their mixed opinions on the short clip, the Instagram story is now no longer available to view.
