How many kids does Drew Brees have? It has been rumoured that after his final match of the 2021 NFL season quarterback Drew Brees may retire. Yesterday, 14 March, Brees officially announced he’s retiring from the NFL through a video featuring his kids.

Who is Drew Brees?
Drew Brees, 42, is the quarterback for NFL team the New Orleans Saints. He even led the Saints to their first Super Bowl win in 2010.
Brees was born in Dallas, Texas on 15 January 1979 and lived in Austin for much of his early life. He played football, basketball and baseball at school, and in 1996 he led his football team to the 5A State Championship.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University. While at university he set school records for passing yards and touchdowns.
Brees was with the San Diego Chargers from 2001-2005 and the New Orleans Saints since 2006. He was first pick in the second round of the NFL draft in 2001.
In his exceptionally long career he was named the Comeback Player of the Year in 2004, as well as Super Bowl XLIV Champion and MVP. He also set an NFL record in 2009 by completing 70.6% of passes.
The Saints just lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Drew Brees shared a wonderful moment with his wife on the pitch.
How many kids does Drew Brees have?
The couple have four children together – Baylen, Bowen, Callen and Rylen. And they all joined him in his retirement announcement video, which melted NFL fans’ hearts.
Baylen was born in January 2009, Bowen in Oct 2010, Callen in August 2012 and Rylen in August 2014.
Meet Drew Bree’s wife, Brittany
Drew Brees’ wife is Brittany Brees, formerly Brittany Middleton Dudchenko.
She was born on 18 Sept 1976 and is 44 years old.
The couple met while both attending Purdue University. They have been married since 2003, and celebrated their 17th anniversary last February.
The couple set up the Brees Dream Foundation in 2004. This organisation works to “improve quality of life for cancer patients, and provide care, education and opportunities for children and families in need.”
So far, the pair have contributed over $45 million dollars for this cause.
After Drew made comments criticising NFL Players taking a knee, the couple apologised for the comments and Brittany wrote:
“WE ARE THE PROBLEM….To all of our friends and anyone we hurt …we will do better.. We want to do better , we want to HEAR you, and we will fight for you because thinking we are not part of the problem…is checking the box it means we are are not doing enough.”
