Who is married in Little Big Town? Country music group Little Big Town appeared on The Today Show as they spoke of going back on tour despite the pandemic. Now some are curious to know more about the group’s relationships and who is married to who.

Who are Little Big Town?

Little Big Town are a country music group consisting of members Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, and Jimi Westbrook.

The band first came together in 1998 and have since gone on to become known as one of the biggest names in country music.

Over the years, the group have had many hits, including Bring It On Home and Better Man, as well as Girl Crush, which was the best-selling country single in 2015.

They have since amassed many accolades for their music, including multiple Grammy awards and an Emmy. The group also were awarded a star on Nashville’s Walk of Fame in 2017.

Who is married in Little Big Town?

Along with the band’s successes, fans are interested in the love life of the group and are curious to know who is married to who. 

Little Big Town singer Karen Fairchild and the group’s guitar player Jimi Westbrook are the only couple within the band.  Fairchild and Westbrook have been married since 2006 and share son Elijah Dylan Westbrook together.

Elsewhere both Phillip Sweet and Kimberly Schlapman are married to partners outside of the band. Schlapman and her husband Stephen married the same year as Fairchild and Westbrook – in 2006.

Meanwhile, Sweet and his wife Rebecca Arthur, better known as Becky, got married the following year, in 2007. 

The band have previously described their group dynamics as “one big marriage”. While chatting to Us Weekly in 2010, Fairchild explained: “The band is like one big marriage.

“You have to really be family and love each other to be in a band this long, or you would have gone your separate ways. Kimberly and Philip both have their spouses out here with us a lot. They travel with us as much as they can. 

“We keep the families on the road. Everyone has a child as well, so family is super important to the band.”

Little Big Town announce the return of their Nightfall Tour

The group announced they would be returning to the road last month in a post to Instagram after they had to cancel shows due to the pandemic last year.

Sharing the dates of their tour, they captioned the post: “Nightfall Tour… returns. Pre-sale starts now, use code: NIGHTFALL. We can’t wait to see you back out on the road!”

Today, Friday, 4 June, saw the band appear on The Today Show as they said they were picking up from where they left off before the pandemic with their tour.

Schlapman explained: “We’re picking up where we left off, and we’re going to hop back on the road and go to all those cities that we didn’t get to go to last year. We’re so excited we cannot wait to get back out there.”
