Rappers Cochise and $not joined forces to release their first collab Tell Em today Friday, 28 May 2021 after teasing its release date earlier this week.

Cochise announced the release of his new song featuring $not on Instagram writing: “OUT NOW.” $not went on to comment under the post: “Yesssir.”

$not celebrated the new track with his followers on the photo-sharing platform earlier this week as he posted a snap alongside Cochise.

He captioned the post: “TELL EM WASSUP!!!!!!! @COCHISE LETS BREAK THE INTERNET ++++ [FRIDAY].”

Fans react to Tell Em on Twitter

The collaboration between Cochise and $not was highly anticipated by many fans as the two had previously spoken of each other online.

Fans may have heard a snippet of the new track as it went viral on TikTok as many shared their excitement ahead of the collaboration.

Since Tell Em’s release, fans of both rappers have since taken to social media as they react to their new song.

Others shared their hopes the artists would join forces for more music again in the future.

Who is $not?

$not, real name Edy Edouard, is a 23-year-old singer and rapper who first rose to fame on SoundCloud. He later became known for his 2018 single Gosha.

Amid his collaboration with Cochise, some have wondered why $not is often seen wearing a hoodie and the meaning behind the rapper’s fashion choice.

Talking of his look to Complex in February, he explained: “That’s my brand.” He added: “It’s like a stock. It’s like my investment.”

$not previously trolled his followers on Twitter after many questioned what he looked like without his iconic look.
