As Kanye West’s highly anticipated Donda is set to be released some are curious to know more about collaborations on the new album, including rapper Vory, who features on multiple tracks.
Who is rapper Vory?
Vory, who was previously known as King Vory, rose to popularity in 2015 after featuring on Bryson Tiller’s Don’t and Break Bread.
The following year he went on to release his first mixtape, Overdose, which was followed by his EP Lucky Me in 2018. Last year Vory signed with rapper Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers Records and also dropped his own self-titled EP.
The rapper and singer’s music style has been compared to that of The Weeknd and Drake.
Talking of the artists he has been compared to, he told XXL magazine: “I think tone-wise they always say when I rap, they say Drake, but when I’m singing, they say The Weeknd.”
