Five days ago, Taylor Swift broke the internet by dropping her tenth studio album, Midnights. Known to casually drop Easter eggs in her songs, fans are now convinced that a track might have secretly dropped the name of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively‘s fourth child.

The singer has a close friendship with both actors. With the news of their fourth baby being announced a month before the release of her album, fans are now connecting the dots at a possible name reveal.

The lyrics “I see the great escape, so long, Daisy Mae” spark curiosity

The speculations began after the song You’re On Your Own Kid had the intriguing lyrics, “I see the great escape, so long, Daisy Mae”.

The heartbreaking and emotional ballad is about a character named Daisy Mae, who concludes that life is something she must face alone.

Naturally, fans wanted to find the meaning of such a name – Daisy Mae? Could that be a connection to her longtime friends and their unborn child?

Fans began pointing fingers at Hollywood actors Ryan and Blake. The couple announced the happy news of their fourth pregnancy in mid-September.

As the three have been close for many years, Swifties are not discarding the possibility of another song based on the beloved couple’s kids’ names as her characters.

The Focus and GRV Media have reached out to Taylor’s representatives for comment.

Taylor’s history of dropping her friends’ kids on her songs

In the past, Taylor dropped the names of Reynolds and Lively’s children in her albums. The track Betty from her 2020 album Folklore mentioned seven-year-old James and three-year-old Betty.

So it’s no surprise to fans who think the name Daisy Mae is related to their future child.

According to Capital FM, the 32-year-old used her friend’s kids for the characters of her song, Betty. This left fans wondering if the singer had actually dropped the hint. At the time, neither Ryan nor Blake announced their daughter’s name.

Taylor has had a close relationship with Ryan and Blake since 2015. The actress even appeared in her music video for the song, I Bet You Think About Me from Red (Taylor’s Version).

Since then, both actors have shown admiration for their friend throughout her music releases.
