An Evening With Silk Sonic tracklist
The nine-song album takes inspiration from the Seventies disco era. You can tell both artists love their old-school music: the music videos for their singles Leave The Door Open, Skate and Smokin Out The Window definitely don’t belong in this decade.
It’s also a new sound for Mars; this is his first record playing the congas, a Cuban drum.

Is there a Silk Sonic vinyl soon?
There has been no confirmation of a vinyl yet but Anderson has released vinyl LPs for his albums Oxnard, Ventura and single Bubblin, so it makes sense there will be a Silk Sonic vinyl.
Likewise, Bruno has vinyl versions of three of his records. Plus, vinyl would be on-brand with Silk Sonics’ throwback style – they’ve already got a bronze cassette for merch.
Fans have taken to Reddit to discuss possible vinyl release dates, with one user claiming a Silk Sonic release would definitely come – but not until March 2022 because there’s a global vinyl shortage, according to his local record store.
In February 2020, the Apollo Transco vinyl manufacturing plant was destroyed in a raging fire, while pandemic restrictions limited air travel.

Other merch
As well as the bronze cassette (£6.99/$15), there’s a limited edition box set of the CD with a gold or cream T-shirt decorated with the album cover print for $45 (US store).
UK fans get a bundle of the CD, T-shirt and cassette for £29.99. Unfortunately, most merch is sold out in the UK store but everything is still available in the US version.
