Rush release 40th anniversary reissue of Moving Pictures

This week Canadian rock group Rush released a reissue of their classic 1981 album Moving Pictures in honour of 40 years since its initial release.

As fans will know Rush formed as a group in 1968 and later became known for its three members Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart.

Moving Pictures was Rush’s eighth studio album and is considered to be their biggest selling record. According to ABC News Radio, the album is said to have sold more than four million copies in the US.

Rush fans may remember the band also released a reissue of the album in 2011 in celebration of its 30 year anniversary.
